Spring is Here Today But May Not Be Here Tomorrow

 Hi friends,

The red buds are blooming!

The Bradford pears are to!

So pretty looking like big snowballs!

We had a storm day this week and when it cleared up , the sun came out and the sky was blue our power  went off.for five hours!  I guess the ground was to wet to support trees with the wind blowing like that.

Hubby finally got me talked into going to our local chiropractic , Dr Jeff..  I have a apt. for Wednesday. I inhered a bad back from my Dad but have never had anything done for it.

Hubby is hoping this will help me sleep before it gives me another Stroke.

me from a old homestead on land he bought years ago.

What is this?  Its making holes all over our yard.

Random Things

Hi friends!

I have been working on these for a couple of weeks.

I think 2 more and I will start quilting each one.

 

Hubby had to fix a drip yesterday.

Now he is sore all over from laying over the bottom of the cabinet for hours. I gave him two pillows but that wood is hard.

Always something that has to be fixed!

Hi friends! 

I had missed our meeting the Nov. meeting and we usually don't do Christmas month but then I missed the Jan. meeting to. Nov. because my daughter was in the hospital and Jan. because was sick.

Afraid I was going to miss today but feeling much better today.  Sunday got out in that pollen and was sick by bedtime. Maybe I  have a  allergy to pollen?  Only six was at the meeting , so much sickness but Susan had car problems and Bonnie comes with her.

Half a Quilt

 Hi friends!

Dreary looking day but at least the storms have moved out.

Got to cut some off the other curtain may make a ruffle on the top.  Still got some sewing to do on this one, got to sew the sides !

Though I had a lot of these ready to quilt but seems I was wrong!

Going to do some more before I start quilting them. Went to Walmart for some cotton battening but they didn't have any!!! 

Bought some fleece but Hate to not use the same thing. May just get me up a order!!!  Jo-Ann's is usually fast!!

Ordered some!

Valentines and other things

Hi friends!

Hubby always gets me such sweet gifts for valentine.

No Chocolate bucause sugar free chocolate is GROSS!!!

 

Hubby says this is Bear claw marks because of the amount of distance  between each claw. I will not go outside after dark!!!! This is at the edge of the woods behind our house, Not Far Enough!!

Hubby is hoping for some nice warm weather so he can clean up this! Those parts of the barn was added 60 0r more years ago and knowing Hubby's dad they were probably half rotten when they used them. He has the barn full of rotten wood. Hubby has filled the hall of the barn with  new lumber some of which he has used on this house. But it seems when we have something done they always needs something we don't have.

Got to sew!

T-Shirt Quilt

 Hi friends!

Tatum's Drama teacher at Gainesville sent me some t-shirts to make a quilt for her brother, who was a referee.

This will probably be my last t-shirt quilt.

To me they are easier to do than a regular quilt but that's because of not having the equipment to handle the other  kind.

Angel!

 Hi friends! 

My granddaughter from Texas is up here visiting so we had a breakfast for her Sat. morning. She and her fiance Cameron are looking at the camera. Anna has her back to us with the yellow cap, her guy, Lindsey was at work , I think.

Alisha is past Angel with her guy Devan.  Mark and David on this side of the table..

Tommy and my daughter in the kitchen, she is doing great. She went back to work last week.

So happy she is doing so good!!!!!
In 2003 I had a stroke but by the time I got out of the hospital all my systems had vanished.

The blood clot effected my left side, hers went across her brain and the Dr. had to get it out. Plus it affected her speech but it went away fast!

Th Lord has realty blessed her.

Maybe cut them down the middle and add a white strip for each!

Layla's Quilt

 Hi friends!

We had Ashley and Michael's baby shower. We had a great time . Layla got just about any thing she needs, lots of diapers and tiny clothes!. They will have to change her little dress constantly just so she can wear them all..It will be a miracle if she wear them all but they can always save some for the next baby even if it's a boy.

I got all the decorations off but today we finally put in back in it's box! Until next year!

I still have a few things in here but 90% of them is put up!

My daughter carried me to the shower, now we can't wait for April for the baby girl to make her entrance to our family.

Tatun Michael 's sister  said she would be coming home more after Layla  gets here.  She lives in New York City!

Decorations Still Up

 Hi friends!

My tree is still up!!!

We both had something like the flu after Christmas but we had our flu shots months ago, must have been a strain they didn't cover with this shot.

 I have brought the tub that holds my ornaments in there so will start removing them Monday.

This week end is a baby shower for my son's grand baby that's  due in April.   Shower is  tomorrow.

I am working on this! Their baby room is decorated in jungle!

Maybe I can get un- christmas buy the middle of the week!

New Year

 

Hi friends,

The tree is still up, Tommy has been sick and he gave it to me ! Soon I will have the energy to put everything back up!

Didn't put it all out just the tree and a few other pieces.

JulieRose sent me those.

She is so sweet, Got a card from Dawn. She is having a hard time of it , prayers please.

We all have problems, but my daughter is doing great now. My car is in the shop, red headed daughter had a wreck in it but should be ready to go in the next few days.

Love all of my long distance friend that I have never seen in real life.

Christmas With My kids

 This was after we ate breakfast then we handed out gifts and after that we played "dirty Santa"

Hoping For A Merry Christmas

Storm warning further South. Pray for those people. The just said a   warning for Laurel, Miss., home of "Home Town " with Ben and Eran on HGTV.

My daughter is doing great , the Drs are surprised.

We are trying to get into the Christmas spirit.

WE are having Christmas here with my kids and grands this coming Sunday. Pictures next week.

Looks like the Northern States are being covered with snow! Praying for them to. We could have a bad one this year.

Remember the reason for the season, Our heavenly Father.

Decorating a Little

Finally finished my Christmas Tree! Took me nearly a week!

And today I hug one wreath, on the back door since that's where everyone enters.

It has rained for days! I know we need it but getting so tired of cloudy raining days!!!

Tree Up

 Hi friends!

Hubby took the Air conditioner out so I could put that chair that sits in the corner further down and put the tree up. 

I have been fluffing and putting on ornaments   all week!

Still haven't decided what to put on top!  Star? Santa? Angel?
