One Down

Hi friends!
Just got a email saying my order from fat quarter shop is on it's way. But yesterday I dug out what little fabric I had left over from last years Quilt of Valor and made one block.  Flags on both but a different shade of blue on them!

Finished one star.

I had this to and now I think I may have some more some where , would take a lot of digging .  I put one of these in last years quilt.
I looked yesterday but  stopped with these and made my block.
Well if you need me I will be in that jungle called my sewing room.

Shut down mostly

Hi friends!
 All of my masks that I made have been picked up.
My Jessica works at a nursing home.and I am worried about her.
And my daughter went back to work today after being off for two weeks.

I got these out because its seems to relax me to work on them.
Another Santa painting.
I have a good supply of these ! I had put them up at before Christmas and just got them back out.
Just trying to stay safe here. Tommy thinks he has to have gas, just hope no germs there because I will be the one to go inside and pay.

Hi friends!
Some one said yesterday that these bindings would work. I new I had a bunch of them so this is the first.

This way you have to cut , press and then sew them together so it takes longer.

Things are so pretty out side.

Finished these for Abby and Tonia , they are closed but still filling prescriptions  and handing them out the window at the drug store. Plus all of them go home and are around lots of family . Don't want them to get it!
Need to make some now for my  Jessie and for Allie. I know Jessica is still working. Worried about all my family out in this germy world.
Got to get busy and make some more.

With four people buying books for it there is always something good to read.

Prayers for our nation

Hi friends!
Planning on working on this today and finding a face mask pattern that I like to see about making some for us.
When Abby went and got our groceries , she couldn't find potatoes are frozen biscuits.  Tommy eats two every morning so we just buy the ones already made. I can't make two , maybe 12 but not two! So he has gotten use to them. Not me!
But we have a bag in the freezer so maybe she can find some before I run out.
I am afraid it will get much worse before it gets better and with stupid Nancy back no one will get any help.
She must want to run for president.
But making a lot of enemies!

One Mug Rug

Hi friends!
The sun shined yesterday!
Tommy mowed and I cleaned and moved my flowers out to the car port so they could get some sun.
In two weeks the only place we have gone was to get water and to the drive thru slot at the post office. Maybe like that for the next month!
Doesn't look like it's getting better.
Well we  may be   saving money by not going any where!

The trees are about tho pop out with leaves.

Sun is not out today, rain this afternoon so Tommy is heading out side to get as much done as he can.
When he is in the house I spend all my time looking for things for him!

I was digging around in my scrap totes and found this. A baggies with twos sewed together, five inch squares.

Would make a great little baby  girl's quilt.

I tough maybe all of them were sewed together but !

Lots to Work On

Hi friends!
Very little was sewed over the weekend.
Abby and Ryan came over and went for us to pick up what we needed at the grocery store.
So we are all snug here.

Started sewing these together. But that was as far as I got!

Laid this out to make a rug mug out of it.

Don't really like this for backing for a baby quilt.
Maybe some sewing will get done today.
They still don't have our water fixed!

I looked for some backing for my twins baby quilts.
Wanted some with blue and not girly.

May have to use this if there is enough for both.
They are saying old people are dying from the virus but the Dr. in China that found it died from it and he was 40. And another place a 50 year old died.. So every body stay safe.

Christmas Quilt

Took the border off that I added, it was just to busy.
So now I think I will makes some more blocks to make this bigger.

A row down the side and maybe a row across.
I have the middle of the blocks left over so I will see how many has red in them already.

Then it should be big enough to hang down on each side.
