Gaven's quilt.
And some odds and ends.
A lap quilt and a twin sized quilt. Plenty !
Not going to work myself to hard .
Hopefully a few more finish's next month.

Haley's Quilt and things

Hi friends!
Didn't get much sewing done over the weekend.
Started a new blood pressure medicine and just didn't!
I did quilt about a forth of this in hearts.
And last night I made these!

I made my brother a towel like this  to in John deer fabric but I may have made it to long. He would use it to grill and it might be so long that it would get into the grill.
I may have to make another for his grill. Don't want it catching on fire.

I quilted a couple of these to.
Maybe today I can get more done.
Tommy wants to go to town and look at car ports!

T-Shirt Quilt

Hi Friends!
Worked on the t-shirt quilt yesterday.
Got them all sandwiched after I finished ironing interfacing on the rest.

Ready for quilting.

Did some cutting for me a table runner.
And made this for Sis.

I made it from a fat quarter that dawn    HERE sent me a while ago.
I think when I was working on my farm girl vintage and that may have been four years ago?
Time flies when you are having fun!

Haley's Quilt.

Hi friends!
This is what I got to use as backing for Haley's quilt.
I ask her mother is she might think these are monster's but she said that  she loved these to.

Added a little to it so I could be sure it would fit. and sandwiched it.

Got that finished  Thinking of quilting it with hearts.

Starched and ironed it yesterday.
So it's by the machine I use for quilting. Have to finish quilting Hubby's quilt first. Had to take out a little quilting on it.
This morning we got a invite to Ashley's and Michael's wedding. Plus a invite to his graduation next month.

Ashley and Michael.  Gave them their quilt last Thanksgiving's day.

Gavin got a hair cut!

New Quilt

Started another T-shirt quilt for a good friend. Her grand daughter played ball.

Gavin's Quilt

Hi friends!
One finish for this month.
I made this for Gavin.

Here  he is is sitting on it.
It's a busy quilt but he is one busy always moving little boy.

His mother trying to get him to go to sleep last night.
We had the best time Sunday. making memories with family.
To bad some couldn't make it.
We miss them all especially Angel who moved to Texas to live.

Easter at Our House

Hi friends!
We had the best time!

The games  were enjoyed that Tommy got for Christmas playing Dirty Santa. All of our Grands loves these.

There was lots of little ones finding eggs.

We had a great meal, then we all followed the g-grands around taking pictures. Then sat on our big back porch talking and game playing.
Maybe more will come next year.
We missed the ones that didn't make it.

Haley's And Jessica's

Hi friends!
Got those strips straighten out.
So now I have another finished top, maybe Monday I can sandwich it and Tommy's top .

I cut and folded the fabric I bought for 15 dollars . There is still a couple of other pieces that I didn't get to.
I went looking for baby blues.
Some of those were 11 yards so I cut them in the middle so I could get them folded.
They are having the sale again next weekend.
Hope to get their early to get some white thread.

I mostly cleaned yesterday because we are having family this week end but did a little sewing last night . Worked on Jessica's quilt. Doing it a different way than what I was doing.

Good Report

Hi friends!
Yesterday we went to see Tommy's Dr. that did the cat scan.
All was good!   One more year and he will be at the five year mark!
Then we went to Red lobster.
I went off my diet! But it sure was good!
One the way back I made this picture.

See that little house? 
They clear cut this a couple of years ago and we saw this house for the first time. Been going by it my whole life but the tree's were so thick that you didn't even know it was there.
I have gone up and down this road for 60 or seventy years and you could never see this house.
I guess a old person died and the heirs had it cut.  Wonder if they knew?
So many acres clear cut and it takes years and years for the trees to grow back.
So many hills around here are being leveled because there is chert inside that hill and they can sale that so when they finish it will be level grown where a beautiful hill once was.
Progress!!!
It ruins so much of this beautiful planet.

Haley's Quilt

Hi friends!
I spent some time working on Haley's quilt.

I added the black around the panel in between each kitty cat hug and kiss's block.

Found this fabric at Walmart yesterday and grabbed it. It wasn't there before when I asked .

The only thing is part of each of the strips I added is upside down!
So now I am using my ripper to take it out to redo it.

My white flags bloomed last week , now my purple ones are.

Next week will be the yellow one's I guess.

Gaven's Quilt

Hi friends!
I finally got some added to the backing on Gaven's quilt. and got it quilted.

Took me a while but since I was on a roll I sewed down the binding to.

Using a stripe to bind it.

Second Wheel Chair Quilt.

Hi friends!
I cut and made this nine square first then I got down some Charm packs to mix in and realized that the charms were bigger.
Had to go searching for a ruler that was more true to the size. Why is that? Why can't they make them all the same five inch's?
Going to make a goodnight Irene wheelchair quilt.

This is the new size blocks, thank goodness I just made one that was small.

The blue snow ball may be for Haley's quilt. Haven't quite made up my mind.

Q-Bee's Meeting

Hi friends!
This was made at the first of the meeting and several more came in, we had 18.

This is one of two quilt tops donated for quilt's of Valor. Imogene on this end took it home to finish.

This was the other one, I brought it home to finish it.

Jean made this one for a special friend at the nursing home.

That's Charlotte behind that, she and Vickie are making one together. Love the stars and bars!

Vickie brought a new ruler for her to see.

Charlotte is going to be a grandmother again so she is making these 3.D pinwheel for a  quilt for him.

We have three Barbara's and this Barbara made this for some one she loves.

Susan Has started on another Widows quilt for the widows in her church.

Dianne did this from a quilted panel for a wheel chair quilt.

She has started her storm at sea.

This is another. And I am just now cutting on my second one.

 New member , see that stack of blocks she made from this pattern. She wanted us to help her decide on some sashing..
Here are just a few of her blocks.

That blue one said "Dirty Windows" I had never seen that block before.
