Hi friends!
I finished this but I still didn't like what I did.
All I had left except for some red that I didn't like. But it's ready to sandwich now. I have three I need to sandwich. Plus another donor veteran quilt. I do that on a enclosed porch and it's been to hot for outside.
 Last night!
Yesterday we went to see Tommy's eye Dr.. Don't know if I have told you but he has a freckle on one of his eye balls. The other one the liquid is too thick and pulling on the retina.
They have to watch both of these conditions so we go two times a year for a check-up. but nothing had changed. We hope to stay away from Dr's for a while.
The freckle could change to cancer! Dr Arkin said "just like a freckle on your arm".
We are insurance and Dr. poor!
Have a good one

One of my dear friends had that freckle and it was cancer and he did fine - I hope that is good news. 100 with no end in site. Hate it. Glad you are getting some of your quilting done in this heat. I am in the same boat as you!

Never heard of a freckle on the eye. You learn something every day. Hope all stays well. Your quilt top is pretty

Oh hope that everything will be fine with all that!
I am sorry that you don't like the quilt--I have one that I don't like
and it is hanging in my spare room closet--I will get it backed this
year...hopefully hugs, Julierose

Well you are just too hard on yourself. The quilt looks good!! I hope Tommy's eye issue holds steady. Eye issues are scary. Terry and I are both having eye issues...cataracts. He sees a doc on Friday to consult about surgery. I'm waiting mine out for now. We have had a LITTLE relief from the heat. The big issue here is humidity and its not letting up much. Makes it hard for Terry to breathe.
