The Donated Quilt of Valor

Hi friends!
This is the top donated for "Quilt's Of Valor". It's 751/2 by 80 and the rules say must be at least 60 by 80 so It works.
After washing the top the next to the bottom red is corduroy and it bleed a little. The rest is ok , just that one strip all the way around the quilt bleed just a little.
I have been washing it with color catchers. Maybe one more washing will get the rest.
That one right there!
Going to trim some of the threads under neath and hope it stays together for one more wash.
We had a storm late afternoon yesterday, wind blew hard , so glad we got that hugh tree in front of the house took down.
Last year on father's Day we though it was going to fall on the house.
There are still houses that a tree fell on last year that is still not rebuild.
May have not had insurance on them!
Who knows , maybe the insurance refused to fix them when it's weather .
Have a great weekend
Hugs
Babs

That was beautiful. I love the red and white. You told me about the color guard and every single load of laundry I do I use one - catches dirt from socks too!

Lovely quilt. Never know with insurance. Sometimes what they call an act of God isn't covered.

Oh gosh this is a beautiful quilt. Probably no insurance on those houses. We are in a storm path. We are almost becoming a tornado path now too. Two tornadoes blew through two weekends in a row. Homeowener insurance premiums have tripled since I sold it back in the 80/90s.
